What is all this talk of different cultures between IT Systems, academics, learning technologists? We seemed to have lots in common at the conference – overlapping interests in making learning happen. We do indeed have different career paths and different vocabularies. But we are not working for a hierarchical business (despite appearances). Universities have been diverse groupings of individuals with little in common for generations, but they work because of a common commitment. So can we.
